Hi

can anyone tell me have they ever heard of a gentleman called Renos Pitros
of a company called Buy Buy Cyprus he is a Civil Engineer & Chartered Surveyor-
Valuer. We have some land we wish to sell in Cyprus he has given a figure of
575 euros inc VAT to provide us with a valuation for this.

any information regarding this company would be appreciated.

I suggest you get some competitive quotes. Many of the registered estate agents will not charge you for a valuation if you use their services to sell.

If you want an independent valuation, contact the Property Valuers at http://www.propertyvaluers.org.cy/ and they can put you in touch with valuers in your area.

Personally, I think valuations today from valuers are useless. I have seen quite a few of these and I can say these guys are on a different planet. Just ask them how many pieces they sold recently??

best to get some comparables, ask a couple of local estate agents what they think. people will pay what they want more or less, valuations, no one takes any notice. They are only good for banks to cover their backsides to the directors.
